Starcraft 2 Campaign Guide – Tips & Hints To Beat Missions

I've played through the Starcraft 2 Campaign: Wings of Liberty a couple times now, and it's definitely one of the best strategy game single player campaigns I've ever played. The ability to be flexible and take your own path on missions, upgrades, and research make it dynamic and different every time you play it.

How's the campaign been going for you?

If you've been getting stuck at a certain mission, these tips may help you out a bit. Remember too that you can always changed the difficulty level at any time in the Campaign. You can even use Single player cheats, but all achievements will be deactivated from that point onward so it's not worth it in my opinion.

As I've been going through the Starcraft 2 Campaign on Brutal, I've noticed that having an army that is composed of Marauders, Marines, and Medics does wonders in almost every situation. With the upgrades that you can buy at the Armory, Medics become extremely powerful. And with a solid group of upgraded Marines and Marauders, it becomes a force to be reckoned with.

It may not be the best army makeup in every situation possible, but if you're having trouble with a certain mission give it a shot. Make only Barracks with Tech Labs and Reactors and get a big force of infantry together to lay waste to your enemies. In many cases it works wonders.

Get an engineering bay out fairly quick and start upgrading their weapons and armor too. If you notice that the computer is sending more air units your way, go a little Marine heavy. Or if they have units with splash damage go more Marauders. It's pretty flexible as long as you're paying attention to the enemy army.

I hope this tip helps you win more of your Starcraft 2 Campaign games. If there's missions that you're having trouble on leave a comment below…I'll help you out as much as I can =)
